Villa addresses around Cala Vadella
Cala Vadella is a cove on the west coast, and most of the group bookings we drive there are not to a hotel reception but to a private villa on the slopes above the water. Those addresses are the ones a navigation app is least reliable about: the name on the rental listing and the name on the gate are often not the same, and some access roads are shared between several properties.
The fix is boring and it works: send the location pin from the rental confirmation in the same WhatsApp message as the booking. The driver then has the exact gate before leaving the airport, not a village name. This service is designed for pre-booked private group transfers, not individual taxi rides.
What to send when you book
- The location pin, or the coordinates from the rental listing, rather than only the villa name.
- Number of passengers and number of large suitcases. Eight people with eight big cases and beach equipment is a different vehicle from eight people with cabin bags.
- The arrival time and the flight number, so a delay is followed rather than guessed at.
- If the group will want a run to the beach or to dinner during the stay, it is easier to arrange in the same thread than to start again later.
Getting to the beach and back during the stay
A villa above a cove is a good place to stay and an awkward place to leave without a vehicle. Parking near the water is limited in season, and the walk back up at the end of an afternoon is longer than it looks on the way down.
